Lately...

I have been a bad mom. I have neglected to take a lot of photos of Miles lately. I don't know why, just haven't. So instead of posting pictures, I decided it would be good to make a list of things that Miles is doing and using these days.

Where do I start??

-He is roughly 20lbs and 28 inches long. HEAVY boy!

-He is currently rolling all over the place.

-He LOVES to stand while being held.

-He goes from sitting to on his belly.

-He sits with no support... pretty much all the time.

-He has 1 1/2 teeth...the 1/2 is currently making its appearance.

-He is in size 3 or 4 diapers. The 4's are a little big, but work great for night time.

-He is in 9-12 month clothing.

-He sleeps from about 8-8:30 till around 7-8. He will usually cry a few times around 4 or 5, which means he wants his paci or is a little cold.

-He just started formula this week. He likes it OK. I give him Gerber Good Start Gentle Plus.

-He isn't showing a ton of crawling signs. He does bring his legs under him, but no movement. He might be like his momma and never crawl. : /

-He eats 4 (7-8oz) bottles a day and 3 "meals."

-He loves pretty much all his "meals" except green beans, spinach and chicken.

-His favorite toys are his green wired ball (unsure of name), his musical blocks and his groove and learn. He will pretty much play with anything that looks fun.

That is all I can think about right now. Hopefully I will have more pictures up soon. He has been a little more challenging to take care of since last week when his first tooth came through. We will make it through though.

Trip to Savannah

So last weekend we went down to Savannah to visit our good friends Travis aka "Crack" and his fiance Summer. As always, we had a great time and really enjoyed our visit. Miles was very photogenic the whole trip and I think it was mainly because he has a crush on auntie Summer. Every time she would walk by he would get the BIGGEST smile. It was pretty darn cute. Here are a few pictures from our trip.

This past weekend while we were in Savannah, Summer and I decided to take some pictures of Miles. I have yet to have professional pictures taken of him (bad, I know), but until then (we are having them done for his 8 month birthday!) here are a few that we did. Over a half a year old!

Well yesterday Miles turned 7 months old. Where in the world did the last 7 months go?!?!

I honestly have no idea, but I know that they have been the best 7 months of my life. It is hard to believe that in 5 more months we will be celebrating Miles 1st birthday! I love you Miles!

A day at the Aquarium

This past Tuesday we went to the Georgia Aquarium with a few of our Baby Brigade friends. I wasn't sure what Miles' reaction was going to be, but he definitely enjoyed it! He sat in his stroller the entire time just looking and chewing on his feet. All of our friends seemed to have a good time as well and every baby was on their best behavior.

Labor Day Weekend

This past weekend was absolutely beautiful, so to make sure we took it all in, we decided to go to Amicalola Falls. It was SO nice out and it felt wonderful to be taking in the fresh air.

Once we were up in the area we realized that Burt's Pumpkin Farm was already open, so we decided to stop by. Boy was that fun for me! I have always LOVED Burt's and to finally be able to take my child, well that was something special. Miles loved it and I have to say that the color orange was a big hit with him. (He still bleeds red and black...GA fans!)

Well the title says it all. How in the world does this happen?? Seriously. It was all in his hair, to his elbows and all over his outfit. Thank goodness Ty was home to help clean it up because this one called for a shower and a bath.

Play date with friends

Today we went to Macey's house for a play date and as always, we all enjoyed ourselves. It was a very low key day and we basically just hung out and watched the babies play. Macey is SO close to crawling it isn't even funny. I bet by the end of this month (probably sooner) she will be up and at it and keeping her mommy extra busy.
